Review of Queen of Dragons

This was a good book. Readability is 5 of 5, Plot 5 of 5 and of course overall 5 of 5. I found out halfway through that it was the third book in a series but I would never have known otherwise. I love good fantasy books and this was very good. I had trouble understanding the main characters. That is the only problem I had with it.

I am going on a vacation to Florida, I will be gone for most of September. So there probably will not be any new entries until after the 21st.

Until then, good reading!

Queen of Dragons

Went to the library a few days ago. I picked up the next book, Queen of Dragons by Shana Abe.

I want to point out that I am obviously not reading everything in exact order. My library has three fiction sections, fiction, mysery, and sci-fi/ fantasy. I am reading one from each section, just to keep things from getting too boring. Although I have had several good ones in a row. This one I just started and it promises to be good!

Go read this book!

This book was great! I loved it. It reminded me that I need to eat more real cheese, I have several of the cheeses mentioned in the book on my grocery list right now. If you are a foodie you will love it, if you like mystery's you will love it. Good characters, good everything. 5 of 5 on all accounts.

I will be checking out a new book in a few days, so check back soon.

Update: I got a few cheeses from my local grocery store ( dont have a cheese shop close unfortunately) Go get a cheese called lamb chopper! Do it now! its ridiculously yummy, I NEVER eat cheese by itself but this one is so good I couldn't stop myself.

The first review!

I just finished the first book, State Scarlet. Now I was hoping for a horrible book, so the first review could start with a bang! But the book was really not that bad. I have been trying to decide how to rate the book. I have decided to rate each book on plot, readability and overall. So without further ado, I give the plot 4 of 5 stars. It was good storytelling, I really can't complain. The readability I give 3 of 5 stars. The book was a little too long in some places and I found my eyes starting to glaze and my brain begin to wander. The politics were tedious to me, and I found it hard to connect to a lot of the characters. So, overall I give it 3 of 5 stars. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but if you decide to read it, I don't think you will be too disappointed.

The next book I will read is, The long quiche goodbye by Avery Aames. It proclaims itself "a cheese shop mystery." This actually seems like something I will enjoy. I will let you know as soon as I can!
